I wonder if Missy my Border Collie/lab would heard. When she had puppies she would heard them.

southerngirl, there is probably some instinct in Missy. Now the crossed dogs usually have both breeds instinct which makes them less reliable at work.

fly30, do you use verbal cues, or a whistle?

ah, never mind, i can now hear your voice, you must use verbal cues! WONDERFUL, SO SO IMPRESSIVE!!

Now, what will poor Fly do all season with no sheep????

Yes I use verbal cue for the moment. I'm practicing the whistle in my car at the moment lol ! This instrument is tricky, you have to find your whistling cues yourself and always have the same sound for one cue, not so easy. Once you get it, then you can teach the dog.

Fly will be at rest for the summer, we'll have more time for silly tricks
