For a lot longer than you have lol.... we've been working on it off and on for months It took her AGES to manage to do a step without my hand there, but once we got over that hurdle, we've progressed really quickly

I totally understand the 'off and on' thing with teaching some tricks. I do that! LOL! I think I get frustrated that it isn't going as well as I would like so I just put it on the back burner.

Evie is do so well, she's just so cute!!!!!!!!! I've the same problem, Ra Kismet always works better off camera, he get's a bit over excited when he knows he's being videod!
