Zeus and I are newbies

Hi I have adopted a dog named Zeus,I will be picking him up in a few days.He has a problem with being left alone , I am told he has been abandoned a few times and has been known to have a problem chewing when this happens I am hopeing to find help resolving this issue for him.Any advice would be helpful thanks.

First you'll need to get him some chew toys. Kongs and Nylabones are great for this purpose.

Second, you'll need to supervise him. Dogs learn in the moment so if you catch him chewing something he isn't supposed to, you need to interrupt him and bring him to his toys.

There are a few threads on this subject, you should do a search as I don't know them by heart.
