[Sorry if this topic was made already... I tried finding it, but got nothing.]

Hey everypup!

What tricks do your guys know? Were you taught them for fun? Show? Just another way to get out extra energy? Post here!

Tank knows...

Around
Circling a standing/sitting person clockwise.

BANG!
Play Dead.

Bow

Clockwise
Spin.

Come Here

Come On
Follow.

Counter
Spin counter-clockwise.

Dance
Moon walk! :msncool:

Down
If Tank jumps up or if he's confused on what to do during training sessions and starts obsessively dancing. :ROFLMAO:

Fetch

Front
Come back to the front of me (from rear) through split legs.

Heel
On leash and off.

Hey!
Pretty much a "Stop" or "No."

High Five

Hold It
Hold something in mouth.

Hug
While in a sitting/laying position, Tank jumps up on your lap/chest and licks your face. :doghappy:

Jump
Tank will jump over/through/on anything that happens to be presented. An arm, leg, foot, hoola hoop, stick, rock, your back, ect. If nothing's shown, he'll hop in the air!

Kiss

Lay Down

Leave It
Tank isn't allowed to touch the object in question until told it's okay. I can leave my steak dinner out and trust him not to touch it while I'm out shopping. (Why I would do this is uncertain, but still. :ylaughing:)

Look At Me
Watch my face and body language. [This can either be "Look at me!" or simply Tank's name.]

Middle
Walk in between my legs while walking. (This is a really cute one that people seem to love.)

Nope
When we're training, I'll often leave him to think on his own how a trick is done. If he starts dancing or doing another trick obsessively, I'll say "Nope" in a regular tone (this isn't a punishment) and he'll stop, trying something else.

Off

Out
Saying "Out" in a doggy voice :msngiggle:

Outside
Tank runs to the front door.

Quiet

Pray
Butt down, paws pressing together repeatedly in praying position.

Rollover

Sit

Shake
Left and right.

Speak

Stay
Stationary position.

Take It
Grab the object I point to.

Talk (Wuah)
He'll open and close his mouth like he's silently speaking!

Through
Go through my split legs to the back; Alternatively, an Agility term.

Touch
Targeting. He'll do it to any object you show him when you say this.

Under
Go under given object.

Up
This can be for either getting Tank to jump on on something, like a couch, or for several places in Agility, like the A-Frame.

Wait
Similar to Stay, but he can move in different positions until I give the okay.

Wanna Help?
This is similar to "Come On," which is basically "Follow." However, with this he'll be in Working Mode and will be concentrating on me the whole time, watching for cues on what to help with.

Want It?
He'll speak if he wants whatever we're eating/playing with.

Wave

Weave
This is the "Figure 8" from Jean's collection. :) [Also an Agility term.]

"The Evolution of Man and Beast"
This is our show stopper! I begin against the ground. Tank jumps on my back and stands proudly, symbolizing being triumphant over man. I walk around on all fours (him laying down and getting comfortable), then slowly progress from stage to stage. When we reach the final step, I standing upright, he wraps his body around my neck and we go about... together. :D

-----------

There's probably more, but that's all I can think of for now. All of these have an associated hand signal to make it easier on my puppy. What do your guys know?

My dogs know some or all of the following: paw, high five, wave, spin, catch, jump (sometimes over another dog who's in a down/stay), weave through my legs, paws up, paws down, stand with front paws on a stool, sit in a chair, dance, target, watch me, heel/front/finish, open the door, push, retrieve, pushups, find Daddy, speak, take it, leave it, drop it, find the tennis ball, bobbing for bones/tennis ball in a bucket, put toy away, bow, distance down, stand, stop, go to crate/kennel, sneeze, and more. One of them can spring her sis from a wire crate with one smooth motion...another is pretty good at opening baby gates.

I think all of my tricks are going to be listed in the Classroom eventually, so you'll have to wait to see my list. Hehehehe

Well, I try to make a list.
I wrote down the Hungarian commands, and explain what it means in English:
ül-sit
fekszik-down
közé- she stands between my legs
bújj- figure eight (in a littlebit different way)
körül- she goes around me
piti- beg
talpra- she stands on her hind legs
forog- spins counter-clockwise (I'm teaching spinning clockwise right now)
mancs- gives her paw
gyere- come
kússz- crawling
bukfenc- roll over
tolat- goes backwards (currently teaching)
lábhoz- heel (currently teaching)
bot- she goes around an object I point at (75% ready with the trick, she needs a lot of practice...)
hajol- bow (currently teaching)
bújj (yeah, it's the same az figure eight) - doing slalom at my legs

I think thats it... sorry for the hungarian words...:msnblushing:

My 5 month old poodle puppy can:
Sit
Down
Stay
Roll over
Play dead (Bang)
Shake
Bow
Drop It (still working on that)

At the moment I'm trying to teach her how to crawl (with i call being stealth) and high five. But she isn't getting the hang of 'high five' unfortunately.

My 3 month old puppy knows:

Sit
Lay down
Look at me
Touch
Shake paws
High five
Turn around
Wait
Fetch
Come
Kiss

She's currently learning roll over, spin, stay (I think her little overactive puppy brain makes it hard for her to stay) and heel.
