Not really obedience training per se...but thought I would share a little training challenge we worked on (cause I'm proud of us) :p

    Thanks Evie!

It actually took us a long time to get that down with allot of repetition.

I'm so jealous! I wish Brody would pay attention for that long. He usually has to stop and scratch or go chase a fly for a while!

Amazing, I love how she holds her target and also keeps holding the toy (this is a challenge for us) .
I'm going to give this a try though, looks fun!
    And that last shot

    Thanks for the encouragement guys!!!
Mutt - we were able to work on holding the toy in a stationary position using B&T and the intermediate bridge to build duration. But we are still quite challenged when it comes to holding the toy after being asked to do something else. If you noticed I gave the drop it cue as soon as she brought it to me becuase I know she won't hold it very long. Same thing if I ask her to hold it, then sit soon as she sits she drops it.

My goal is to work on building duration of the hold when doing something other than being stationary! :D

I believe I have read B&T before in your posts do you maybe have a link to an article about it? (It's the one were you say xxxxx as long as the og has to do the behavior, right?)

    Yes that's it.

The best info can be found in the Files sections of the Yahoo groups:
    Bridge & target 2
    and Trainest:

There's allot of info but not as easily organized on the official website:
