New Trick

I am in a puppy class and have two weeks to come up with a trick for my puppy to do using a small orange soccer cone as a prop. The trick can be anything at all. Anybody have an idea of something simple that a 7 month old puppy can learn well in two weeks using a small orange cone? She is clicker trained and already knows the basic obedience commands. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

You can teach her to target the cone, or spin around it, or umm whats the word, like do a U-turn around it.

Also, I dont know if its to advance, but stacking cones if you can use more than one.

If you have multiple cones you can let the dog weave through them - forward and backward.
In case it's only one cone you could teach: spin around, touch with left paw, touch with right paw.

To teach the puppy to go around the cone is quickly done with luring.
If you want the dog to touch an object with paws it's quickly trained using a clicker.

You could teach him to push it with his nose too! Done easily with a treat underneath. or you could teach him (if sturdy enough) to put his front paws up on it?... really, anything is possible. you could try a free shaping session to see what he comes up with on his own.... which is what I'd do, then work with that.
