New Trick

I'm starting on a new trick with Onyx, called "Are You Thirsty?" Where she has to go and get a drink from her water bowl when I say "Are You Thirsty?" It's actually a fairly pointless trick, but very cute!:dogtongue2:

I actually taught this trick to my Pami, it's actually very practical when we're on a ocmpetition, especially now that the really hot summer arrived.

i use 'want some water?' whenever she is drinking, and can use it now when we are at competition, when she is inside and her water bowl is empty or i'm just refreshing it.

i do that too but i just have it on "drink" and they go find something to drink, sometimes it is the creek preety good as koda hated going near mud but for some reason when i told her it was a drink she'd more or less dive in

yup,works like that too when out for a ride. when i find a creek, dam or clean looking puddle it is 'have some water' for a drink.
