I was playing about with my dogs when i thought of an idea to teach them.
Statue! First you tell you dog to sit then shouting the command statue hold your dog still.
gradualy carry on saying statue but dont prompt your dog then reward it with a treat (clicker). Then when ever you shout statue your dog will stop moving and stand still.


PS: Can you teach an old dog new tricks?:msngrin:

This sounds fun!!
And this can be really useful sometimes, like when the dog is in a dangerous situation!

And yes, an old dog CAN learn new tricks!

That sounds really cool! How would you get the dog to associate it with freezing no matter what position? I want to try this!
