Hi, I'm Jemima and I recently found this website due to searching for dog tricks! It's just so fun seeing my dog do almost anything for a tasty liver treat...
My dog is Mika (Meeka), he's a Tibetan Spaniel and he's 9 months old. He knows a few tricks, more the gesture than the command, but he's getting there! He knows sit, stay, shake, lie down, touch (where he touches my finger with his nose), "tummy" (roll over!), stand (or jump), drop, in the process of learning "shy", and half knows fetch (he's not a big fan of balls, though).
I hope to stay on this site, looks like a lot of fun!
This is him on his first day at our house.. you can see the beginnings of a collection of toys.
And a lot more photos.. I hope there aren't too many!
(this next one is him at his first home... he looks so cute, and looks as though he's been digging a bit, judging by the dirt on his face. it's a bad habit of his!)
He's desexed, all vaccinated, and has had two other operations, one on his prolapsed third eyelid to stick it back where it belongs, and another to fix a stitch that came out from that operation! The Elizabethan Collar has become a close buddy of his!
I take care of all his needs, and I practically begged for him about a year after our German Shepherd/Kelpie mix passed away (she'd been alive all my life), and after much persuasion, I won the argument. I look forward to getting more dogs, too. I'm definitely going to live on a very big property for all my dogs and cats! My second dog is probably going to be a Staffy, Schnauzer (probably minature, but you never know!), Kelpie or German Shepherd.. I'm keeping Mika socialised to ready him! Even if it won't be this year, or the next.
Phew.. this was a huuge post! But it said to introduce myself! I hope to keep posting here.
