Hi, I have a 2 1/2 year old dog named Revere. He is a Beagle/Jack Russel mix. I've had some trouble thinking of new tricks for him.

What does he know as of now? I mean, the sky is the limit! If you know how to clicker train / shape behaviors then you can train him to do anything. Turn on or off the TV! Pick up his own toys and put it in a basket.

I put it in my profile, but he knows sit, shake with either paw, lay down, roll over, play dead, roll over, and I am trying to teach him to balance crackers on his nose.

I've been trying to think of ways to try to combine the different things he knows now into something cool. I think he needs to get better at retrieving first though, because a lot of my ideas include that.

You can always ask him to roll over before you throw the toy for a retrieve.

you could teach him to roll himself in a blanket you just need to teach him to pick up and hold the end of a blanket then roll over wile holding the blanket.
