Jump Rope!

Want to teach my Border Collie to jump rope with me! As it is now, she has a good sense of "touch" and will jump up and touch my hand.
How can I turn this into jumping rope?

I have always struggled with this trick too, so will check out that forum. I think it might depend on breed of dog as well.
