Hi all my name is Melody my partner and I own 8 girls 4 basenjis and 4 beagles. When I was a teen (36 now) I competed in the obedience ring with my little dog what we believe was a basenji/beagle or harrier mix. She won many blue ribbons and was working on scent work when she died.

After that I stopped training for years and years and have recently started again, not to compete but just for fun and maybe someday try the ring again.

This seems like such a cool site and I'm happy to be here!!

Thanks Jean.... it was so hard to loose her she was like lassie but better!! :-) Took me a long time to get back to training.
