Hi everyone! This looks like a great community and I'm really looking forward to being here! I am a Professional Dog trainer and Behavior specialist myself and have always loved teaching my dogs, especially tricks. My dog Allie actually knows over 40 tricks. She's 14 years old now so I consider her retired and don't do much trick wise with her anymore. She sounds old, but she still has a few good years left in her.

I actually have four dogs, let me introduce them;

Chassie, 15 year old, Female German Shepherd
Allie, 14 year old, Female Dalmatian Mix
Judd, 11 year old, Border Collie Mix
Crash, 3 year old Weimaraner

I also have a Ferret named Trouble who is 3 or 4 years old.

All the dogs are very well trained and know quite a bit. I'm very happy with them, I'll try to introduce them all with pics and such at a later time. For now, I'd just like to say Hi and I hope to meet a lot of new people and make some new friends! Thanks

Thank you! That sounds like a lot of fun and I will definitely want to do that with our Weimaraner crash! He needs more trick training I have video taped Allie doing her tricks, but it was on the old way with VHS tapes lol. Now she's a bit old and has a hard time doing a lot of them. Perhaps I'll make some of Crash as we go about training though! I've been thinking about starting another blog all about him and training him tricks and such. Thanks again for the warm welcome

40 tricks Wow! I have a German Shepherd cross too - she loves to learn! I keep thinking about making a training blog for my pup Oka but i barely have time to get on the pc -let alone update a blog!

You should definitely give it a go! I've found blogging to be a Lot of fun and I look forward to posting to it every day! I am thinking more and more about giving Crash his own. Once I get going with some tricks, I will try to video our training sessions and post them up and such He already knows some, I just need to get back to training him!
