A German Shepherd guide dog led her blind companion the entire 2100 mile Applachian Trail

Sounds good until you realise that the blind companion only wanted to go to the local shop!

On a far more serious note though, that is some HUGE accomplishment. 2100 miles!

LOL :doglaugh: 2100 miles is about 3360 Kilometers!!! What a way trip it must have been! I can imagine the poor guy saying to himself: "that's strange, I didn't remember the store being so far... Nor located in the middle of some wierd woody landscape... Oh well, thank goodnes Rexy here knows the way!" =P

lol my dog would walk 2 miles get bored and lay down and want me to rub her belly. But that really is amazing.
