YES, as of April 1st, the AKC is now allowing mixed breeds to TITLE in Obedience, Rally, and Agility. The AKC Canine Partners program allows owners of mixed breed dogs to apply for the program, and join the competitive world of dog sports. As the owner of a rescue and a mixed breed who love agility, this is exciting for me....not that I'll be rushing out to join, but this certainly opens up some possibilities for me and my dogs. Just thought I'd share this with others interested in Obedience, Rally, and Agility, with their mixed breeds. :doglaugh:

MIXED BREEDS RULE!!!
Tend to be healthier, too.

Tx, which of your dogs is the mix who rocks at agility?

Zekers is my speed demon. Of course, being fast doesn't necessarily mean he does everything right, lol. So that's still a work in progress. But he is insanely fast.

If I can just find time to get him in classes!

I was thrilled to when I found out! My two Boxers though not mix breeds weren't able to be registered (ILP) because they didn't "look" enough like their breeds. Now they are going as Boxer with Canine partners. Can't wait to start agility with them!
