Hi all, I'm Alysha from Townsville.

I own a 10 mth old basenji called Hope.

She's a quick learner (sometimes - when it suits her haha) and Ive started teaching her tricks. So far: shake, high 5 and high 10 (as well as basic commands sit, stay n wait). At the moment trying to teach her 'speak' which is a little hard as she is a silent dog and only yodels or baroos.

We do agility and hope to enter comps when she's old enough.

ROTFL Oh my gosh ... NOW I understand why it's called yodeling. Playing the first video I have found something to click my dog for when I play it. He covers his ears with his paws

basenji baroos are awesome! i am glad my girl can be vocal - but only when she feels like it!
