Hello, everyone, my name is Shirley McLain. I am a retired RN turned author who lives in the Tulsa Area of Oklahoma. I live with my husband and 5 dogs and 1 cat on 5 acres right on a creek bank. They are like our kids and I wouldn't want to be without them.
I've attempted to train my dogs but don't do a real good job. Everyone does sit and most will stay. I have a 11week old Chorkie (Chihuahua and Yorkie) who at this point is wild. I can't even catch her to pick her up and love her. I have a Rottweiler/Irish setter mix that likes to carry everything he picks up (Trash, food, toys, pool equipment, anything. ) outside. He kept taking the beds out and I've chained them to an object that won't go through the dog door. As you can probably tell, I have my hands full. Have a blessed day and I'm glad to be here.
