Here is a video of how Missy is with dogs who she used to react to.
In January of 2013 during walks me and Missy would run into Princeton and Copper on walks. They are allowed to roam the neighborhood by the owners. Missy went nuts as you can see every time. In February I slowly introduced her to them.
I'm pretty sure I've posted the "Then" video before.

Missy actually acted the same way with Piper that she did with Copper and Princeton in the video. Now Missy and Piper are best friends/sisters. Missy loves Piper.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Danielle, truly awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! You've done an absolutely amazing job with Missy! You're one very gifted dog trainer!(y) I could hardly believe I was watching the same dog, the difference was so incredible!:D

Missy walked along and did all the right and proper 'doggy greeting stuff' as if she'd been doing it all her life! And Piper was also a very good girl.:love: So happy for you!:D

I'm glad that you commented on on how she greeted the dogs, I was wondering about it. She is always very jumpy when meeting them. I'm glad to here that she is greeting right. Hoping to renew my library card and get books on dog body language to learn more about it.
I have a video of Missy walking a good bit behind another dog when I upload it would you mind looking and telling me what you think about Missy's body language.

Always very happy to help you Danielle in any way I can:D Watched this video again and was once more very impressed with all your hard work. Missy is still just a smidgeon nervous, barely anything at all, just her ears went back when Copper (I think I have the right one here) did the butt sniff intro, but nothing to worry about, she handled herself with dignity and aplomb!

When Copper (right dog for sure this time) came up behind her and you 'warned' him, Missy walk on totally undisturbed!

Also, don't forget, you had both dogs on the lead whilst Copper and friend where off leash, always a much more 'threatening' situation to any dog! Missy (and Piper) handled themselves extremely well, especially as Copper seems a bit OTT with the butt sniffing etc. Very proud of you and Missy, again congratulations on all your hard work, it's sure paying off big time.

When you upload of course I'll look and let you know what I see.

Also, there are some very good sites on line with doggy body language, will check those out, as I know it's hard to get decent books etc.

Copper likes Missy a little too much. He has gotten on top of her, Missy jumped around and showed him her teeth. I continually have to warn Copper. He even walks beside her a lot. He's got a bit of a crush. And yes you got them right Copper= light brown Princeton= dark brown with black.
