Royal Puts His Toys Away

Royal has known how to 'tidy up' for a long time. What we have been needing is a toy box with an attached lid. They just don't make them for small dogs! Yesterday I found a box in the dumpster that I could cut down and make work for us. He is now learning to open the box, tidy up and then close the lid. He needs a better understanding of closing the lid but I don't think it will take him long.

That one is on my list. I read about a woman whose border collie needed a job, so she dumped a laundry basket full of tennis balls down the stairs each morning, and the dog had to find all the balls and put them back in the basket at the top of the stairs. I thought that was sheer genius.
