Reintroduction

Hi all,

I have not been on here for a long while and would like to reintroduce myself to all.

I live in Wales, UK and have a Boxer x Malamute who I adopted at 18 months old, Ripley.

She is a wonderful and caring dog who did not have the best start in life. I would like to learn new tricks with her and am looking for some new inspiration and would like to meet some new dog loving friends and reacquaint with some old ones.

I look forward to hearing from members and partaking in interesting forums again!

Hi Evie, good to hear from you! It has been too long since I have been on here... Love your signature. Shows what a beautiful dog Evie has grown into! How are you and Evie getting on?

We're going wonderfully!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect dog :D

We're mainly concentrating on agility at the moment... recently started training it once a week locally, and our trainer says we should be out competing later this year :D

Evie absolutely loves it...

How are you and Ripley going?

Loved agility when I had a Border Collie - they are so willing and you can just see how much they love it!! Very good luck when you start competing - it is a rush!

We are great - she has grown into a brilliant dog. We have a good range of tricks but are looking for some new inspiration. I would love to do competitive agility with Ripley but we only have one club in the area and there waiting list has been ever since I had her...! :( Just enjoy bits and pieces for fun.

Welcome back! I'm glad to see you've come back. It has been pretty quiet around here, but it seems everyone is slowly coming back.

Belated Welcome Back:D You were around when I joined with my beautiful late Ra Kismet:cry: . Lovely to see 'old' members returning, it's been a bit quiet of late.

Must say, love those photos of Ripley, she's such a beautiful gal!

Thank you. Yes Rakins crossing absolutely devastated me, along with my partner, the vets, nurses and specialists. He was so young and full of life before the cancer showed it's ugly face. Even at the end he was still so full of life, albeit with wobbly legs.

It is the most painful thing losing a dog at any point, even in old age, but to something like cancer and when they are young I'm sure is unbelievably devastating. My thoughts to you, your partner and your pack.
