Progress With The "limp" Trick

i had given up on this trick since it didn't work...

but after some months of pause and a re-try yesterday-​

it finally seams to be settled ​

my dog is same way, *sometimes* when he is NOT getting a trick,
i shelve entire thing,
and
oddly,
when i REintroduce it/try again later,
then he then 'gets it'.
.
i have no idea why that helps, but, it helps my dog sometimes.
