Hi I have a 7 month old black british lab and right now i am training him to hunt. If anybody has any suggestions i am more than happy to hear. Also i am looking for a good dog food for him because we are active. Any tips on selecting food or recomendations are more than welcome.

Depends on how much you want to spend! 
Fresh food is more expensive but better for your dog. Commercial food is still debated at times on this website, but usually the more you pay, the better it is also.
