My Dog's Cut Pad

Has this happened to anyone else!

My dog has cut her pad and refuses to wear a bandage!
She's an american bulldog cross and I've been told that they are heavy on their feet.
I'm looking into buying her booties
 
Can emphasize with you totally! Though I found booties didn't work either:( If the dog won't wear a bandage, like your girl and my boy, they usually refuse to wear booties.

What I did was to keep the wound clean, make sure my boy only walked on 'clean as possible' ground along with attempting to 'keep the patient' quiet' and not too much movement. I bathed his cut pad three times a day, he didn't mind that, and also used Aloe Vera to help heal the wound as quickly as possible.

That's great news that she's allowing you to put on a bandage!!!! Hope she's now well on the mend, cut pads are so hard to heal.:)
