Nice to see you here, we are a very friendly forum so I hope you enjoy your first experience of a discussion forum, this was the first forum I subscribed to as well.

I love to read too, I've just been reading Karen Pryor's book "Don't shoot the dog" you can read it as a pdf here for free. I think it is a fascinating read whatever your particular interests and circumstances in life. If you have a dog you'll be looking at it with new eyes... and you'll probably find yourself doing the same with your child and the people around you too .

Looking forward to hearing whether you enjoy the book. I've moved on to reading "Control Unleashed" by Leslie McDevitt to help my dog learn but for fun I'm also slowly revisiting all the Enid Blyton stories I read 25 years ago... they don't seem nearly as exciting now
