G'day from Canada!

Though I don't currently have my own dog, I am hoping to buy a Dobermann in the near future (I just e-mailed a breeder and am awaiting a response...). My parents have bred all kinds of dogs and we have always had at least two or three while I was growing up, not to mention loads of puppies. Honestly, I think it was too many dogs for me! But now that I have my own house in town, I would love a companion to go for walks/exercise with and as protection.

I guess that's it! I have never trained a dog beyond the basics (come, sit, etc.), and am excited to see all of the crazy things my potential new friend and I can work on. ;)

Thanks guys!

I did look into Dobie rescue but around here it's hard enough to find a Doberman breeder let alone one in a rescue. I came up empty, but I did find a fantastic Euro breeder and will be picking a 3-month-old Doberman pup at the airport next week. ^^
