I realized that Valentine has learned a ton of commands just to play fetch and tug, and this is before I make her do other tricks to get me to throw the ball.
I played a quick session with her to lay out all the things a typical game has made her learn.
Bonus: you'll also get to see how comically intense she is with her addiction to a ball. She even does her crazy dance.

- Go Get It = Fetch.
- I Can't Reach It = Bring it closer to me, you dropped it too far away from me and I'm lazy.
- Hand = Put it in my hand. (If I don't ask, she'll usually put it right at my feet or in my lap.)
- Tug = Don't just stand there chewing on it, actually pull on it, dear.
- Drop It. (She actually learned "drop it" from the tug game.)
- Take It = Put it in your mouth.
- Catch It = Grab it before it hits the ground. (We practice that with treats. She's only allowed to eat them if she gets them before they land.)
