training with the other dogs has been really good as well. getting used to dogs of all temperaments being around, whether or not my lily likes them that much, has been important. you know, it's one thing to master sitting for me alone at home and quite another when out and about. |

| Try enrolling your dog in obedience school. Working with a professional trainer makes it much easier for your dog to understand what he can and can't do. Make sure he gets plenty of exercise and playtime. Remember that when your teach your dog a new command, to keep practicing for a few days that one command. Don't just make him learn new ones once he's preformed that command. Good Luck teaching your dog! Shasta and Gus the Boston Terrier |

| Be sure and visit the classroom here it's an awesome place to start. Be sure to check first with the vet for safe exercise levels and impact on growing puppy bones since labs are prone to elbow and hip dysplasia. Be sure this working breed gets enough exercise as he grows or you'll always have a frustrated dog. They need to get out of the yard and run at least an hour a day preferably more as adults.
