Endless rain has been hitting where I leave in TN knocking out our power for days on end and then when we finally get it turned back on it gets knocked out AGAIN. So because of this I haven't been on for the better part of 2 1/2 -3 weeks, maybe?
I have however gotten to train the dogs though not outside... none of mine like the rain except for Kratos.
Isis has been mostly working on her aggression towards people with using our neighbor Bob as a target when it wasn't raining. He isn't afraid of her at all, he baby talks her from the distance
She is up to allowing him to be within 10 ft of her without any reaction before he could be down the street a mile and she would react.
Jinx has realized barking at the trees moving is optional. Thank the gods for that
She also realized maybe she is the reason no squirrels come into our yard anymore... and no rabbits have eaten the lettuce in the garden since we chained her under the porch.
Moose has been moping because it's raining. I literally had to force him outside and stand next to him covering him with the umbrella so the rain wouldn't get him
He is also refusing to walk through the house if Kratos has been through because of the water....
Kratos has been having a blast regardless of the lack of power. He has gotten to go play with Marley and Martha (two lab pups down the street) for which their owners are grateful. They apparently sleep really well after their play dates. He also scared a kid trying to walk through our yard when he was hiding under the porch and bolted out to meet him...
And I have learned steel bowls become hazardous projectile when dogs are hungry and they know how to fling them.
