Those recipes are great, and I'm happy you're feeding your dog that.:) BUT, there are 2 ingredients I'm concerned about in the food:
  1. cabbage- I may be wrong, but isn't cabbage not that good for dogs??? Doesn't it give them gas??? I know for sure that it's true for many dogs.
  2. cornstarch- dogs can't digest corn well, in any form.
Also, those look like recipes for humans, lol:ROFLMAO: Yum!!!!:p

I love your urge to cook for dogs! almost anything WE cook, is probably better than store bought dog foods or dog treats!!
and i so agree, cooking for dogs is (or SHOULD BE) really simple, quick recipe. Kristy, you are so so right,
too many ppl think of cooking for dogs as some big, time-consuming chore, but, you are right---------it's not really.

But, i think cabbage would have same effect in dog colon that it has in human colons, and i think cabbage would give some dogs gas. Or maybe even bloat (not sure, but, i would not give a big-chested dog cabbage).

dogs do not need spices, extra salt, not a lot of added fats or oils at all. Dogs don't need dressings, gravies, flavorings, condiments, etc. Dogs really don't need flour, either.

just plain ol un-flavored, un-spiced meat, and maybe few plain veggies. The PLAINER the recipe, the better for the dog, imo.
