Hope you all have a fantastic day with friends and family. .. whichever day you choose to celebrate on!

I am currently cooking a duck... I've never cooked, nor had a duck, for that matter, I've never cooked a whole turkey or chicken, either, so hope it turns out! Lol

How did the duck turn out Sara, did you have a nice thanksgiving? :)
We don't celebrate it here in Holland, we do have Sinterklaas which is kind of our version of Christmas :p

I hope you had a good thanksgiving Sara. My thanksgiving in the U.S isn't until November.

Thanksgiving here in Canada is more of a harvest celebration. In the US it celebrates an actual historical event. I would think any country/culture that has any agriculture would celebrate the harvest season in one form or another.

Oh the duck was brilliant! I'll never cook a turkey now! Lol I'm not a huge fan of turkey anyway... which is why I decided to try a duck, and I'm hooked! Lol
