I finally got a chance to look at your blog. Your costumes are so cute. Did you ever have any problem getting River to wear them? I recently bought Brody a reflective raincoat, and had to do some serious shaping with it to get him to let me put it on. Even so, it doesn't quite fit right, and the hood covers his whole head. I want to tailor it a bit, but because it's rubberized, I'm afraid of ruining it when I sew it with my machine.

River has trouble with hats. Although he loves having something in his mouth so that will distract him. He also loves when people make a big deal about how cute he was. So at one costume contest we went to he wanted to go up to every person he saw and say "hey, look at me!" He can be such a ham!
