Hey Everybody!
I just stumbled on this site and am excited about learning about lots of different new tricks and connecting with other dog owners. I have had my dog, Charlie, almost 3 months now. We think he is part Cairn terrier, but definitely a mixed breed and about a year old. A neighbor rescued him from a home where he had been very neglected, but he has done very well with me. I have had him in the PetSmart beginner dog training for the past 7 weeks (our last class is this week) and we have learned some basics (sit, down, stay, etc) and this week, we finally got shake. I've been so excited about that I want to see what else I can get him to do. I live in SC and work as a media specialist at a middle school. Looking forward to reading all your posts and learning about dogs!
