Dog Trick Academy Terms and Conditions; Revised July 19, 2007.

1. I acknowledge that participation in the Academy entails known and unknown risks that may result in physical or emotional injury to me or my dog. I understand that such risks cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities and purpose of the Academy. These risks include, among many other factors, my own negligence or of other persons that I may directly or indirectly encounter.

2. I understand that dogs can be trained using various training techniques and that the training techniques presented in the Academy may or may not work with my dog. I also understand that any deviation from the presented training techniques may produce undesirable results.

3. I expressly agree to cease all training techniques learned in the Academy if any undesirable behavior originating from my dog is encountered. These undesirable behaviors include, among others, aggressive or submissive behavior, biting, growling, showing of teethes, tail between the legs, ears down. In the event that an undesirable behavior is encountered, I also agree to immediately contact a reputable and knowledgeable dog behaviorist.

4. I voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dog Trick Academy and all related persons for any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with my participation in the Academy and including any claims of negligent acts or omissions.

5. I understand that I am obligated as an Academy student to abide by all policies and procedures including those described in the classroom lessons.

6. I certify that me and my dog have and will maintain health while participating in the Academy. I agree to bear all costs of any such injury or damage to myself, my dog or my property.

By checking the “I Agree with the Terms and Conditions” box of the Academy sign-up page, I acknowledge that if I, my dog or anyone is injured or if my property or that of others is damaged during my participation in the Academy, I shall admit to any applicable court of law or dispute related proceeding that I have waived my right to bring any action or maintain any lawsuit against Dog Trick Academy, all related staff, agents, volunteers, participants, and all other related persons or entities.

I acknowledge that I have had sufficient opportunity to read, consult others for advice and gain a complete understanding of these Terms and Conditions.
